How is this better than regular email?

It's faster. MUCH faster. It means you can send and receive attachments like photos and video clips in a matter of seconds, as apposed to minutes or hours.

Just how fast is it?

10Mbits. Non-jargon? An average MP3 music file every four seconds, or one very-high resolution photo every second.

What do I need to use it?

To be able to use this service, you will need one of the following things:

  • An internet connection with UberNetworks using our wireless broadband service
  • A ubernet.co.nz or ubermail.co.nz email address, eg, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • Your own domain name, hosted with UberNetworks, eg, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it


If you don't have one of these, don't panic; we are more than happy to help you get one. Ubernet or Ubermail email addresses are free if you have your internet with us, and we can arrange a domain name if required.
